FENRIS GAMING HALL HOSTS THE COMMUNITY AT THEIR GRAND OPENING RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY

After opening its new location in early September, Fenris Gaming Hall hosted its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 2 p.m. at 11375 Robinwood Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.  

Owners Adam Francis, Pamela Francis, Jonathan Blank, and James Cuff, were surrounded by family members, friends, and community supporters during their grand opening celebration.

Fenris Gaming is a premier tabletop gaming retailer and community hub located in College Plaza. Specializing in Games Workshop products, including Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, and Citadel paints, the store also offers a wide variety of card gaming systems such as Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Lorcana.

Twelve years ago, Adam began hosting a small gaming club in his home—a place where friends could gather, compete, and celebrate their favorite tabletop and hobby games. Over the years, that club grew into a thriving local community of players and enthusiasts, inspiring the creation of the Fenris Gaming Hall.

About Fenris Gaming LLC Business Owners:

Adam Francis, Co-owner and President of Fenris Gaming, is a 20+ year veteran in law enforcement, bringing strong leadership skills to his entrepreneurial pursuits, having founded several companies, with Fenris Gaming Hall being his latest. His education spans philosophy and criminal justice, shaping his disciplined approach to business and community engagement. Mr. Francis’s gaming passion began in childhood, inspired by his grandmother, who taught him painting and gifted him his first Warhammer 40,000 models at a young age. This evolved into a multifaceted appreciation for collecting, hobbying, lore, strategy, creativity, and community. Twelve years ago, Adam began a gaming club in his home, which grew over the years and was the catalyst for opening a Fenris Gaming Hall. 

Pamela Francis, Co-owner of Fenris Gaming, where she plays a vital supporting role in the company’s administrative operations and long-term vision. Drawing on her strengths in marketing and organization, Pamela has been a steady force behind the entrepreneurial journey she shares with her husband. Over the years, she has provided behind-the-scenes support that helps turn ideas into reality—managing logistics, coordinating outreach, and ensuring the business runs smoothly. Her dedication and attention to detail continue to be a cornerstone of Fenris Gaming’s success.

Jonathan Blank, Co-0wner and General Manager, was raised during the height of the Pokémon craze in 1999, and that love for the game has never left him. From there, his journey in gaming expanded — competing in Magic: The Gathering from 2015 to 2021, playing Yu-Gi-Oh! throughout his adult life, and more recently, developing a strong passion for Warhammer, with a particular focus on Age of Sigmar. This lifelong dedication to gaming helps shape Fenris Gaming into a store that serves players across a wide range of interests. he believes gaming is more than just a hobby — it’s a community.

James Cuff, Co-owner and Gaming Regular, is a longtime enthusiast of tabletop gaming. His passion for strategy games began during his service in the U.S. Army, where gaming provided both entertainment and camaraderie. After completing his military service, James returned to Pennsylvania, where he now works as a Master Hyundai Technician. Outside of work, he is an active member of the local gaming community and regularly plays titles such as Warhammer 40,000, Old World, Age of Sigmar, Bolt Action, Horus Heresy, and Legion Imperialis. James lives with his wife, Nancy, their son Franklin, and step-daughter Elisabeth.
